£40 Penalty for Unbooked Slots at Manheim Coventry
Despite multiple communications, around 50% of drivers are still arriving at Manheim Coventry 1 without booked slots. We appreciate those who are following the correct procedure and checklist; however, continued non-compliance from others is now putting our customer relationship at serious risk and, in turn, placing the account in jeopardy.
Because this mandatory checklist requirement continues to be ignored, a £40 penalty per occurrence will now be applied when a driver attends the site without a confirmed booking and is turned away at Manheim Coventry only.
This penalty is being introduced because:
The site is refusing entry without bookings and we can no longer rely on goodwill.
Failed deliveries create additional operational costs.
In most cases, replacement drivers must be arranged to complete the job.
Our right to apply such charges is supported by our Terms & Conditions, where service requirements are not met. Continued non-compliance will be reviewed by Assurance and may result in removal from the account or network.
Manheim Booking - Coventry 1
All drivers must book time slots for the Manheim Coventry 1 location.
Other Manheim Sites Slots
If a booking is required for other Manheim sites, this will be made apparent on the checklist. However, the fine only applies to Manheim Coventry.
Requirements
Slots aren't available on the same day; they are available the day before. We advise that you book your slot after grabbing the movement.
Collections require minimum 24 hours’ notice
Requirements are listed on all relevant checklists
Drivers without bookings will be turned away
If No Slots Are Available
Drivers must notify Operations if no slots are available so we can escalate with the customer.
We want to be clear that introducing this penalty was not our preferred approach. However, given the continued issues and multiple communications on the subject, it has become necessary to protect service standards and our customer relationship. We now need everyone’s cooperation to ensure full compliance moving forward.
Kind regards
