Engineius provides peace of mind to drivers through personal benefits

Engineius has a network of more than 600 self-employed drivers and transport agents across the UK. Through Engineius Plus, drivers can access wellbeing, financial and protection benefits that are more commonly associated with employed roles. 

After completing 10 vehicle movements, drivers are automatically enrolled in Engineius Plus, a benefits scheme powered by Onsi. The programme includes access to a digital GP, mental health support and financial wellbeing services. 

Driver Connor Littlewood, (Silver tier benefits) states: “The Insurance covers the most useful e.g. Accidental Death, Permanent Total Disablement. It gives me peace of mind.” 

We have been working with Onsi since April 2020, making it truly one of Onsi's longest-standing partnerships! The Engineius Plus scheme is tiered bronze, silver and gold to reward drivers with extra benefits as they complete move vehicle movements. 

Driver Shajed M, (Bronze tier benefits) said: “I find the wellbeing benefits most useful e.g. Digital GP, DigitalPhysio, etc. When in bad health, nothing in life matters more than the mental peace of mind that is a doctor." 

Driver Garry T, (Gold tier benefits) reported: "I was signed off work for several weeks and was able to claim towards loss of earnings." 

Drivers often like the flexibility of planning their own week around other commitments, so a self-employed role is perfect and access to Engineius Plus provides support and comfort to make that flexibility a viable choice.
