Driver Referral Incentive - Terms & Conditions
1. Eligibility
1.1. A referred driver will only be recognised as a valid referral if they initiate their application using the referring driver's unique QR code or referral share link. Referrals submitted through any other means will not be accepted and no incentive will be payable.
1.2. Referrals cannot be attributed retrospectively. The referral link or QR code must be used at the point of starting the application.
1.3. To qualify as a valid referral, the new applicant must be a first-time applicant to Engineius - they must not have previously applied to, worked for, or currently be present within the Engineius application pipeline at the point the referral link is used.
1.4. Where a new applicant has used more than one referral link or QR code, only the first link used will be recognised. Multiple claims on the same applicant will not be paid to multiple referring drivers.
1.5. There is no limit on the number of drivers a referring driver may refer while the scheme is available.
2. Incentive Payments
2.1. Upon a valid referral completing the movement milestones set out below, the referring driver will receive the corresponding payment:
10 movements completed = £75
25 movements completed = £125
50 movements completed = £150
Cumulative: Total maximum payment per referred driver = £350
2.2. Each payment becomes due independently when the referred driver reaches the relevant milestone. Where all three milestones are reached, the referring driver will receive total payments of £350.
2.3. Engineius will aim to make any payment of the referral bonus on the first available payment run after internal processing, with a maximum turnaround time of 3 months.
2.4. Qualifying movements must be reached in a twelve-month period from the initial movement to qualify for incentive payment. Any movements after the twelve-month anniversary shall not contribute to any incentive payment.
3. Active Status Requirement
3.1. The referring driver must be active on the Engineius network at the point each individual milestone is reached by their referral. Once a milestone has been reached, the corresponding payment remains due even if the referring driver subsequently leaves or is deactivated from the network before the payment is processed.
3.2. If the referring driver leaves or is deactivated from the network before a milestone is reached, they will forfeit eligibility for that payment and any subsequent payments.
3.3. Reinstatement to the network after deactivation does not restore forfeited payment eligibility.
4. Counts as a Completed Movement
4.1. A movement counts toward a milestone once it has been completed and delivered. Movements that have been grabbed or accepted but not delivered ("handback") do not count.
4.2. Cancelled, aborted, and duplicate movements do not count toward any milestone threshold.
4.3. Milestones are calculated by reference to the referred driver’s qualifying completed movements during the 12-month period beginning on the date of their first completed movement.
5. Tax & Employment Status
5.1. Referral incentive payments are made to drivers in their capacity as self-employed individuals. Participation in this scheme does not alter, affect, or imply any change to a driver's self-employed status.
5.2. Drivers are solely responsible for declaring referral income to HMRC in accordance with their self-assessment obligations. Engineius accepts no liability for any tax arising from incentive payments received.
6. General
6.1. Engineius reserves the right to withhold or recover an incentive payment where a referral is found to be invalid, the scheme has been subject to fraud or manipulation, there has been a material breach of these terms, or a payment has been made in error.
6.2. Engineius may amend or withdraw the referral scheme at any time. Any changes will not affect incentive payments already earned before the changes take effect.
6.3. Participation in the referral scheme constitutes acceptance of these terms.
