On the Road: Nicola Haskett

Meet Nicola Haskett, our Customer Service Manager.

Five weeks into the role, Nicola's already out on the road with one of our drivers, swapping the office for the front seat to see what a typical day actually looks like. It's a deliberate move as she wants every decision she makes as Customer Service Manager to be grounded in what actually happens out there, not just what it looks like from a desk.

Tell us more about what you do at Engineius?

I joined Engineius in August 2026 as the Customer Services Manager. My role is to enhance the customer service department, provide an exceptional level of service, and continually improve both the customer and driver experience.

How did you find the trip overall?

I really enjoyed my time with Simon. It was a very long day, but we completed two very different vehicle movements. One was a brand-new vehicle with only 13 miles on the clock, while the other was an older vehicle being sold at auction.

What did you enjoy most/what was the best part about your trip?

There were a couple of highlights. Firstly, delivering the vehicle to the customer who had never driven an EV before and seeing Simon take the time to explain everything and make sure they were comfortable. His professionalism and dedication really stood out and made me feel a real sense of pride working for Engineius.

I also loved driving through the beautiful Cotswolds and chatting with Simon along the way. Hearing about the different movements he has completed over the years gave me a real insight into life as an Engineius driver.

Is there a location in the UK that you would like to travel through on your next job?

I'd love to travel to Scotland as I've never been, so it would be amazing to experience it while on a job.

What is your dream car?

I've always seen myself driving a white Range Rover Evoque.

What did you do before Engineius?

For the last 25 years, I've worked in customer service for a very well-known vehicle manufacturer, managing their customer contact centre. This included working closely with their customers and retailer network, making sure the overall customer journey and experience was as positive as possible.

That experience has given me a strong passion for customer service, and I'm really excited to bring that experience to Engineius and help make a positive difference to both our customers and drivers

Any further comments?

If I weren't the Customer Services Manager, I'd definitely be up for becoming an Engineius driver!
