Tell us more about what you do at Engineius?
I’m the Product Manager at Engineius. I help plan and build the tools our team and customers use every day - from booking systems to the driver app.
I work with different teams like Tech, Ops, and Support to make sure we’re solving the right problems and making things run smoothly.
How did you find the trip overall?
It was a great way to step into the shoes of a driver and see what the job is really like. Experiencing the process first-hand gave me a much better understanding of what works well and where things could be improved - it was both useful and enjoyable.
What did you enjoy most/what was the best part about your trip?
Driving some cool new EV cars that I’ve always wanted to try, ticking a few off the wishlist was definitely a highlight.
Is there a location in the UK that you would like to travel through on your next job?
I’d love to go through the Lake District, it has great roads, amazing scenery, and a peaceful atmosphere.
Feels like the perfect mix for a perfect movement.
Any further comments?
I'd like to thank Jed Light in the Operations team for setting up these test movements - it was great to get first-hand experience as a driver and see things from that side of the process.
What is your dream car?
The Maserati MC12, it’s bold, extremely rare, and built for performance. An absolute icon that blends racing pedigree with stunning Italian design.
An interesting fact about yourself?
I grew up in Cyprus, which gave me a great appreciation for the sun, the sea and a lifelong obsession with Gyros.
What did you do before Engineius?
I worked as a Product Manager in several successful start-ups, with my most recent role at a smart lock company focused on keyless access technology. It gave me great experience in user-led development and hardware/software integration.
