Employee of the Month: Subrina McCalla

Congratulations to Subrina McCalla, our Network Assurance Advisor for being awarded Employee of the Month.

Subrina has been a huge support to the Assurance team, stepping up to keep things running smoothly during a particularly busy period. Whether taking the lead when needed or supporting other departments, she always brings a can-do attitude and a smile to everything she does.

Her dedication, reliability and willingness to help others make a real difference, and we're delighted to recognise her hard work and commitment.

What do you do for Engineius?

My role involves managing and investigating any issues that arise after a vehicle movement has taken place, whether they relate to customers, clients, or drivers.

I handle damage claims, conduct investigations, and work to ensure that outcomes are fair, evidence-based, and in line with company policies. I also carry out audits and compliance checks to ensure both Engineius and our network of drivers are adhering to agreed processes, standards, and terms and conditions.

What motivates you to do well in your role?

I love problem-solving, which helps me work efficiently. As my role also requires strong attention to detail and effective communication, as I work with multiple departments to resolve issues whilst maintaining a positive customer experience and supporting the business.

What playlist do you listen to in the car the most?

That changes everyday! But right now I am listening to an instrumentalist called Robert Glasper.

What do you like most about working for Engineius?

Teamwork, I love how we support one another within the team and work together to get things done.

What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?

Food, food and more food.

Describe one thing you've learnt in your role?

Efficiency is key.

What’s a hobby or interest do you have that might surprise your colleagues?

I love to bake, my current favourites are banana bread and shortbread biscuits.
