Employee of the Month: Georgia Byrne

Congratulations to Georgia Byrne, our Senior Movement Expert, for being awarded Employee of the Month.

This month's recognition goes to Georgia, who stepped up brilliantly when her team leader was away over the Christmas period. She kept the Deployment team running smoothly through the holiday rush, maintained her positive attitude under pressure, and continued supporting Customer Service with grace - proving exactly why she earned her recent promotion to Senior.

What do you do for Engineius?

I work in the Deployment team as a Senior Movement Expert helping Self-employed drivers find movements, optimise their plans and cover jobs that haven't been selected yet.

What motivates you to do well in your role?

I’m motivated by the lovely feedback I have had from my colleagues and our network of drivers - I try to keep everyone happy in their work and help out when I can.

What playlist do you listen to in the car the most?

My taste in music is very old school - 70s and 80s.

What do you like most about working for Engineius?

The best part of the job is the people. We have such a good mix of personalities and everyone helps and supports each other.

What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?

I love cooking good food and spending time with my family.

Also, try to make sure I have some holidays booked so there’s always something to look forward to!

Describe one thing you've learnt in your role? 

My UK geography skills have improved the most; I’m familiar with parts of the UK I had never previously heard of before.

What’s a hobby or interest you have that might surprise your colleagues?

I can play piano and the banjo 🪕
