Employee of the Month: Beth Owen

Congratulations to Beth Owen, our Team Leader, for being awarded Employee of the Month.

Beth is approachable and supportive, always making time for others, no matter how busy things get - whether someone needs help with a task, guidance, or simply a listening ear.

What really stands out is her genuine care for others, embodying our We Care value. Her positive and understanding nature has had an impact across different teams. 

What do you do for Engineius?

I am a Team Leader within the Customer Services team, my day-to-day consists of supporting the wider team, whilst also assisting drivers and customers.

What motivates you to do well in your role?

I am motivated by our stats to help meet customer SLAs and seeing the team grow their knowledge and confidence, knowing I have been able to help them get to where they are and continue to grow within their roles helps motivate me.

What playlist do you listen to in the car the most?

I personally don’t drive… shameful I know! However, my music taste would depend on the day, could be anything from Drum and Bass to Britney Spears.

What do you like most about working for Engineius?

The people that I work with and the sense of community, everyone at Engineius cares for and supports each other.

I like building rapport with drivers and customers too.

What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?

I like getting cosy and watching something on tv.

What’s the most interesting thing you’ve read or seen this week?

I watched the new series ‘The Dinosaurs’ on Netflix, very interesting!

Describe one thing you've learnt in your role?

I have learnt so much about vehicles, especially electric ones.

What’s a hobby or interest you have that might surprise your colleagues?

I used to play the violin, would be a bit rusty now though! 🎻
